Medicine management and pharmacy communication, with an AI drug-interaction checker.

The problem

Families juggling several prescriptions lose track of doses, and pharmacies have no simple way to know what a patient needs before they arrive. Dangerous drug–drug interactions are easy to miss.

What we built

MedSync brings the patient, their family and the pharmacy onto one platform:

  • Medication tracking with reminders and family patient profiles, so one person can look after parents or children.
  • QR-based pharmacy access: the pharmacist scans a code to see the prescription the patient chose to share.
  • Medicine pre-orders, so the medicine is ready before the patient walks in.
  • AI drug–drug interaction checker that flags risky combinations before they are taken together.

My role

Built as part of Team Yukti. I worked across the MERN stack: API design, data models, and the React dashboard.

Recognition

MedSync won the Healthcare & Well-being Innovation Award at Sunwayians' Innovation Fest 2026, with gifts from Khalti by IME and six months of Yeti Cloud hosting.
