Roots in the soil

From the fields of Katahariya to the terminal.

I grew up in Katahariya, Rautahat, a Terai town in Madhesh Province where the land is flat and the horizon feels endless. My childhood was paddy planting in the monsoon, mangoes in summer, and Chhath evenings with diyas floating on the water.

My journey into technology began with curiosity about how software works. That curiosity grew into a passion for AI-powered applications and modern full-stack web platforms, and for building things that solve real problems for real people.

Today I study BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence at Sunway College Kathmandu, affiliated with Birmingham City University. I build products like MedSync, which won the Healthcare & Well-being Innovation Award at Sunwayians' Innovation Fest 2026, and Sawari Sathi, a real-time ride-sharing platform.

DeerHack 2026 · Deerwalk Group

Won as part of Team Yukti for developing an AI-powered Drug–Drug Interaction Prediction System.

  • Achieved 1st Place in the AI/ML Track for developing a GNN-based drug interaction prediction system.
  • Built a Graph Neural Network approach that represents drugs as nodes and drug interactions as edges to predict potential interactions.
  • Demonstrated practical application of AI/ML, graph-based learning, teamwork, and problem-solving during a 48-hour hackathon.
